5. Legal basis and consent
Under the PDPA, we rely on your consent for marketing communications and non-essential cookies. For enrolment and service delivery, collection is necessary for the performance of our contract with you. We may process data without consent where permitted by law, such as for fraud prevention or legal compliance. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting [email protected], though this may affect our ability to provide services.
6. Data retention
Enrolment and financial records are retained for seven years after programme completion, in line with Singapore accounting requirements. Enquiry data is retained for two years unless an enrolment relationship is established. Marketing consent records are retained for six months after withdrawal. Technical logs are retained for twelve months. Cookie preferences are stored locally for six months as described in our Cookie Policy.
7. Cross-border transfers
Our primary systems are hosted with providers that may process data outside Singapore. Where personal data is transferred overseas, we ensure comparable protection through contractual safeguards consistent with PDPA requirements. You may request details of transfer destinations by contacting us.

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, staff training on data handling, and secure disposal of records. No method of electronic transmission is completely secure; we encourage you to use strong passwords for any accounts we provide.

If you have registered your Singapore telephone number with the Do Not Call Registry, we will not send marketing messages to that number unless you have provided clear and unambiguous consent for such communications. Service-related messages about your enrolment, schedule changes, or certificate issuance are not marketing messages and may still be sent to your registered contact number.
14. Automated decision-making
We do not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects on individuals. Analytics data is reviewed in aggregate by our team to improve pathway curriculum and website usability. Individual learner performance assessments in our programmes are reviewed by human facilitators, not algorithms.
15. Data breach notification
In the event of a data breach likely to result in significant harm, we will notify affected individuals and the PDPC as required under Singapore law. Our incident response procedure includes containment, assessment, notification, and remediation steps. We maintain records of all data breaches regardless of severity.

Our website may contain links to third-party AI tool providers, government resources, or partner venues. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external websites. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of any third-party services you access through links on our site, particularly when creating accounts with ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Copilot for class exercises.
17. Employee and facilitator data
We also collect and process personal data of our employees, contractors, and facilitators in accordance with applicable employment law and this policy. Such data is used for payroll, performance management, and programme delivery purposes only.
18. Photography and recordings
We may photograph or record pathway sessions for training quality review and marketing materials. You will be notified before any photography at our Marina One studio and may opt out of appearing in promotional images. Session recordings used for absent participant catch-up are stored securely and deleted after ninety days unless you request earlier deletion.
19. Payment data
Payment card details are processed directly by our payment service provider. We do not store full card numbers on our servers. Transaction records including amount, date, and partial card identifier are retained for seven years for accounting and dispute resolution purposes.
20. Anonymisation and research
We may anonymise and aggregate enrolment and survey data for internal research on AI training effectiveness. Anonymised data cannot be linked back to individuals and may be used to improve our pathway curriculum, publish aggregate statistics, or inform corporate training proposals without additional consent.
21. Overseas participants
While our programmes are designed for Singapore-based professionals, we occasionally enrol participants residing outside Singapore who attend Marina Bay sessions during business travel or relocate after enrolment. If you are not resident in Singapore, additional data protection laws may apply in your home jurisdiction. Contact us to discuss cross-border data handling before submitting personal data through our enquiry form.

23. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate personal data when enrolling in our AI income training programmes. If your contact details change during a cohort, notify us promptly at [email protected] so we can reach you about schedule updates. You must not provide another person's personal data through our forms without their knowledge and consent. When participating in class exercises involving AI tools, avoid submitting confidential employer data or third-party personal information into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Copilot unless your organisation permits such use.
24. Policy review
